Default Servo Mod For Clark Board?

As the title implies..... I have read that you need to mod the servo's, does this mean for 360 degree rotation? And if so does anyone have pics/ and info on how to do this? I have looked on line and found a few mods but not sure if this is what I need to do. As I am not familiar with servos other then what I have on my rc trucks. I also see that full rotation servos can be purchased. Thanks everyone.

Cheers
Wade

Are you using it for elevation on a TK20?
If so, I would not advise modding a servo (gutting electronics to make a motor). It will elevate way to fast. I just redid my elevation because of that. I can explain later if you are interested in what I did. I need a computer. Tjs

If using a servo for elevation no mod is needed other than attaching a servo delay in line with the servo to slow it down. This one slows the servo and will also keep the postion when the stick goes
back to neutral. Most servo mod's are for recoil and yes it's so it spins 360, so you have to take the stop tab out, and the ESC board to leave just the motor.

Why thank you, one will be used for elevation and one for recoil on the TK22 when I get it. That clears up what I have to do with the one. Thank You.

No Servo mod is required for both gun recoil and elevation application. and elevation speed is also proportional to stick, no servo delay is needed.

here is interior of my M4 turret for your reference. blue is for recoil, black is for elevation.

Clark

It's a TK22 then? The TK20 keeps the electric motor for elevation.

Yes I was questioning about the new TK22. That has an elevation servo port now

Gentlemen,

If you go onto Clark's site.... Click on projects at the top, then on the left column near the bottom.... M4 he has detailed info on his elevation/recoil unit he built.
