Commander with 20 plus figures to paint all I can recommend is to sort them into categories and make notes Heer, SS or Luftwaffe then again into smaller categories as to the type of camouflage if any this way you can paint the figures in groups of uniform patterns which will be a lot faster than painting them all as individuals then one the uniforms are painted you can work on the webbing, boots ETC, just take your time and the end results will be worth it.

Fantastic looking figures. One thing I like to do for the eyes is to use a lightly off white. Then after it dries colored pencils. Once happy seal it with dullcoat.
