I know this kit has been disscussed before in this forum, but it looks like it is finally available. I just saw this at www.axels-modellbau-shop.de, and it is for sale now at 99.95 Euros or $131 U.S. I have not seen any U.S. or Canadian vendors carrying this kit yet.

I would love an R/C version of it... it would make rainy days a lot more fun indoors

That has my attention ..... The fact that it has single link tracks makes me wonder if they are pinned tracks or just those glue together headaches. It's a small model and might be converted to R/C with 1/24 scale equipment.......and HL PzIII track??? LOL

With the use of the Tamiya's 1/24 scale panther tracks, sprockets & motors along with the DMD unit.

I think casting the stock tracks in rubber will do fine of this one if they're too brittle to pin. My 1/35 Tammy Tiger is about 10 years old and still runs with them. I still have two unbuilt Tiger I kits that will gladly give up their gearboxes and DMDs for this.

I was hoping this was a thread saying you had one already... but nope.

I'll get mine from [link=http://www.welshdragonmodels.co.uk/panda-hobby-german-pzkpfw38t-static-kit-116-scale-1858-p.asp]Welsh Dragon Models[/link] as I have in the past with the Profiline kits.

After my trip to Danville next month that is.

I can't wait for this one.

Sprue layout is excellent, nice mix of materials and the tires are molded separate, so they could be cast in rubber.

Tracks are the MK design with end pins, but that doesn't entirely rule them out for RC until I see them in my hand. They may be sturdy enough to drill out for pins.

I wish the main barrel was two-piece. I can make the seam go away a lot easier than I can drill out the full length. One iece MG barrel looks nice, attachment points on the bottom.
