Default Super Duper Winter Whitewash! Oh so Easy!

Here is an idea I tried on an old Tiger 1 upper hull. Go to Lowes, or some other hardware store and look for grout coloring in white. When you see the bottle you might think it is too bright but you'll see. A little goes a long way! Use a sponge to dab it on for that worn look. It dries fast. Or (and this is the cool part) you can thin it and spray your entire tank, let it dry. Now take your tank outside and run it through the weeds, grass whatever you got. You see the product is meant for pourus surfaces such as grout. Brushing past weeds and stuff will make an ole so natural worn effect Once you get your white wash the way you want. Give it a nice dullcoat, and it's on forever. Maybe you have a tank that you want to make " sesonal." Then once winter is over, wipe the grout color off with a damp rag.

Not tried it yet but the have a number of colors that really opens the path for some very realistic weathering.

Have fun brothers.

I used to use tile grout mixed with sand for my model railroad. It made great ballast for an N scale layout.

Good to have you back making some suggestions that are outside the box. That has been missed around here lately

Don has probably been making more trips to the beer cooler so it is making him think of ice and winter...
