Very cool, I especially like the "5" hundred gallon fuel container
Looks like you have had some of the rain in your area also? Have you been affected by any of the flooding?

No flooding here, at least not like the Eastern Slope. My wife's family is cut off from any roads for a while. They stayed behind and did not get airlifted out.

The day after I made the movie it rained enough to have "scale" floods in the tank village. And yes, the tank village has some odd "structures" to be sure. Everything lives outside year around, so yard junk is the best material to use. The 5 gal. fuel can is part of a "mine" my son is constructing

No flooding for you is good news, don't sweat the remarks on the gas can your vilage looks thousands of times better than my non-existant battle field.
Thanks for sharing and keep your powder dry,

No worries. I took your comment as a complment.

I like to think of the tank village as a work of art in progress that is fun to drive tanks (and my snocat and rock crawler) around in. I just added the two concrete "things" by the bridge this week. They remind me of that bridge too far... or am I just taking this crazy tank village idea too far?

No, on the contrary you need to have that vivid imagination in gear all the time; this is what keeps us young. So you go brother!!
Also, I really like point of view picture, very intimidating and with the graded roadway; very high on the cool meter.

Another fine video...thank you. Just one request...let hear that main gun ROAR on that Leopard. Keep them coming... I just can't seen to duplicate that fantastic terrain here in NJ.

Yours just look so realistic. WOW....

I can make a movie of it shooting... that would be fun.

So I looked it up and it's not a bridge too far, it's the Ludendorff bridge I was thinking of when I put the concrete things there.

The towers for the Ludendorff bridge are still standing ( at least they were back in 1981). I was stationed in Holland and when I went to various TDY's to Germany ( Mannheim, Bad Tolz etc.) I would always travel by train. The route from Cologne to Mannheim and Bad Tolz( well until it left the river in the south. ) would follow the Rhine river valley. That's when I saw them. Unfortunately, the train was traveling to fast to give me time to get a pic.
