Hey Fellas,
I have an HL Jagdpanther that was entirely plastic when I got it but I'm slowly makin' a decent TD out of it. This mod could be used for just about any HL tank, though. I won't say it was easy, but it wasn't that hard, either. I took some video at different stages, and even though it's six videos it's only about 10 minutes of footage. The plate is what comes in a taigen T1 and I modified it as needed, but it was pretty simple, really. The important thing to remember is test fit, test fit, test fit. Patience is required. And when I say I have three screws holding the plate down, that's three screws on each side. Before I started I did the mod with the brass tubing around the posts for the mounting screws.

This what it looked like when I got it.

This what it looked like yesterday morning.

This is the mod, but I actually did the videos because I put brass gearboxes in this one. That was the only way to get anywhere close to a 4:1 gearbox with 58mm shafts in a mid/low motor configuration. Lot of work, but she drives like a dream.

These are the rest of the stills, and here's the videos

GREAT job! Glad I could help with the motor plate. That JP I bet drives a ton better huh? Especially since you can swap between the 3:1 and 5:1 ratios now it has to have some monster torque for outside. Have you used the lowest ratio yet outside?
