Thanks for the kind words. Remember though, this is a Sherman from Taigen, not HL. This tank will be of good quality
I will guarantee you will change your mind once you hold it. I'll make sure our regular forum dealers have some, they will agree with me

So it's either a tie in to the release of Fury, which would be pretty smart, or something Russian, as in Red October.

But based on the height, I'd guess something in OD.
I guessed correctly on page one. Not only the tank, but the release tie in.

So what do I win?

I really think I should win one.

Remind me when they come in and I'll see what I can do
I think that is what I should of done is raffled off something for guessing the correct tank.... well maybe next time right? But yes that was the clue I kept telling everyone to look closer at, I didnt say anything about looking at the picture, just in general. Also I have been talking a lot about a Sherman lately, that should of gave it off too. Especially when I was talking about different turrets and such haha. I just couldnt blurt it out and ruin it.

Because none of those Shermans are ours We make the good stuff, plus with the support and care we offer it is hard to not get one of our tanks!

Hehe all new molds. They are quite nice. Be glad you didnt pull the trigger as there is no current way to mate the lower to the upper. I'm sure that issue can easily be remidied by the resourceful tankers here on RCU, but there is no need. The Sherman was a great platform that a lot of tanks were based on, I will be interested in seeing the mods

I was under the impression that it was a tank not done before. if I get a Sherman, it will be a Tamiya.

And if it continues to bother some, QUIT CLICKING ON IT! I support Eric and he obviously thought he was dealing with some mature individuals but it seems like some are acting out and WAY below their actual age. Next time, no guessing or hints just announce it much later than what was planned.

Like I said, I support what Eric is doing here and I don't even own a tank from Taigen or a customer of IMEX either! Just go do something constructive and wait 'til later to see what it is. Gesh guys... LOL

No will come all the hate PM's and replies. That's okay! LOL

Couldn't agree more Jeff.
I cannot believe all the BS i'm reading from so called 'customers'. You guys all need to quit whinging and just stop reading the thread if it bothers you and check back later. Some of us enjoyed the game.

Yeah - i'm a little disappointed it is a Sherman - but will still check it out. Thanks for the information Erik.

Like the solid wheels and the casting effect on the turret is ridiculous ( in a good way)!!! I guess I will turn around and head back home!!! I was on I-10 headed through that long lonely part known as the Osceola Forrest just west of Jacksonville. You are so lucky Erik!!!

I think it looks bad ass and love the fact that it has the cast alloy tourret. now it's between the t34 and this one now, wish it was 4:1 though. still it gives me something to upgrade on it. and the fact that is a taigen I think makes it way better then any HL. and for a tamiya I rather buy a taigen and save a ton.

Definitely leaps and bounds ahead of a HL, but the Tamiya M4 is widely available for $499 (you can find better deals too), the Taigen is $479, so you're not saving a ton. Especially since you'll need another board to get a hobby Tx. And Tamiya is Tamiya compatible.

The VVSS offers more versatility in modding, Tamiya's HVSS is limited in options, but in this case, the Tamiya price argument isn't valid. Taigen's sweet spot is falling between HL and Tamiya, just not on this one.
