Default IMEX M1A2 Abrams or Hobby Raw M1A2 Abrams

Hi Erik i'm about to buy Hobby Raw M1A2 Abrams metal final version unless Imex is planning a metal version of the Abrams. I would love to buy a IMEX Metal Abrams. Do you have anything planned for this tank.

I'm interested in a upgraded metal version. Not the normal version.

No one has made a metal version Abrams yet in 16th scale. We are working on one do not worry, but no ETA on it. I do have a few HL Abrams in stock though. They come with the new Taigen 4:1 steel gearboxes (installed for you) with 20pc bearing sets for $229 here in the US. Ships same day 95% of the time too
There are metal parts available for the HL Abrams but we are not currently carrying any of them at this time. If you live in the US, it is a great deal. If you don't like the gearboxes you can swap them or sell them to make a decent portion back on your purchase. Plus you have trusted support in case anything goes wrong

Chunwai has had an all metal M1 for a while now. Pretty pricey and lots of work to get it to be a reliable runner though.

Even with it's aluminum construction, that thing weighs over 30 lbs! Man, that's cool.

Ah yes, I stand corrected. Thanks for that. Those are super rare around these parts. I still have yet to even see one in the flesh.

I've only seen one at Danville and it was completely gutted and redone with custom work and electronics and still had reliability issues.

What is a Robby Raw, never heard of them. Must be a rip off of the HL model.

You always know when the Chunwai Abrams is at Danville - you would hear loud hammering in between battles as the owner had to keep hammering the track pins back into the end links. It was a cool tank though, with the amount of custom work that had gone into it, it was amazing.

Default M1a2

I thought that these would all be long gone. I will be counting my pennies tonight to see if I can swing one. Any idea what the shipping cost would be to Wyoming? jot
