That looks like a great place to have battles to me. I see water in the background and would definitely make my LCM sea worthy again if I lived down there with you guys. That kind of terrain would be great for some early Stuarts and Japanese tanks, DUKWs, LVTs ---- some of the different kinds AFVs used in the Pacific.

The model boat pond is one bridge away from this spot. That is where I run my Lcm and tanks on the beach,m Not close enough for a battle though , what you see is mission bay, a model boat would get swamped by all the real yachts running around.
it is a great place to battle. Lots of space to manuver. Soon i will have cardboard building mock ups and stuff for more scenarios.

We really enjoyed ourselves last Sunday down in San Diego. The weather was perfect and the battling intense. This the only battlefield I know of that is oceanfront property. You can literally drive into the Pacific ocean while battling. Also, it is the only battlefield I know of where engagements can happen 75-100 meters apart. It's a very challenging battlefield, and favors sniper tanks, and fast maneuvers.
Thanks for hosting, and we look forward to the next one.

No, no sand. It is quite soft in some areas but didn't have any problems with gear box intrusion.
Just have to make sure to avoid hitting shrubs so you don't flip over.

Of course. Anybody is welcome to come.
We have our next and last battle for probably the winter, scheduled for the sunday before Thanksgiving.
You are welcome to come down and battle with us. IT would be nice to have more people.
We have a few rules that we use,
certain tank destroyers with invulverable front armor have the front of the apple covered.
No ramming at all is allowed.
No sweeping IR shots, its unrealistic.
No Airsoft bbs allowed.
Othwerwise, bunker down, attack, retreat, its all up to you and the scenario.

That is a great piece of ground for a battle field. It is getting tough around my parts to find a decent spot for anything. They are trying to turn the whole of NJ into a parking lot.

I actually found several places that were better battle fields but they didn't have public restrooms available. Here we have some that serve the boat ramp for mission bay.
