Jeff, Unfortunately we didn't get to the 2 man tank set ups. We had a lot of 1st time tankers this event so time was spent on showing them the ropes on RT and getting their tanks up to snuff. Great event, had 22-23 tankers I believe. Shannon has some pics/video on FB.

Oh that's too bad but can understand it being a public venue. I'm sure A.C.E. has used this scenario before and I'm curious... does it extend the battle segments/times?
I did get to see some of Dana's (who always does a great job reporting) videos on FB and it was a great turn out. AND, saw that yellow dozer too.

It really depends on the teams and how they operate together. Some teams get in sync quickly and are doing fan shots and getting defensive without saying a word to each other. Then on the other side of it, some teams just don't gel and end up getting frustrated and you can see the steam coming out of their ears. So if you have teams running efficiently the battle can go for a while if not the teams struggling get wiped out pretty quickly and it's a short battle.

Sure, even easier with the hobby grade stuff. Just throw in another RX thats bound to another TX and plug in ch 1&2 or 3&4 depending on tank set up. Couple years ago before 2.4 was in nearly every tank Willy and I had a bunch of synthesized 75Mhz Rx's. Just threw them in the tanks and turned the dial on the RX's to the channel of the transmitters people were using. Think we had 6 or 8 tanks set up this way. 2.4 is even easier, just have pull RX's out of people tanks and put them in others. May need to rebind occasionally, but no biggie.
