Default Parts for the Tamiya M4 sherman

I needed the road wheels for my M4 Sherman and couldn't find them anywhere I happened to look at the Tamiya Super Sherman #56032 and found it's almost the same tank only it's tan instead of green. So I ordered the C part tree X3 and they are the same. So if you are looking for parts for your M4 look at the Super Sherman a lot of parts are in stock that are out of stock for the M4.

Hi Tony, thanks for your help. But, next time when you need something or dont find something, ask us in the forum. A couple of months ago I sold the road wheels you needed and I still have a bunch more.

Also, if you are living in the US, you can find all the tamiya parts at the AAF Tank museum. I bought there the idlers that I needed and shipped straight to Daryl Turner. If you think you are going to drive your tank a lot, I suggest you to do the same, because that piece wears...

I ordered the parts from AAF Tank museum (That's were I saw the Super Sherman) they list the parts in stock but I got an e-mail the next day and they don't have them and they said they don't think they will ever be able to get them. The C part tree are exactly the same as the M4 only in tan I was going to repaint them anyhow so that's not a problem and they were a dollar cheaper each for the Super Sherman then the M4. From what I can see is the Super Sherman is exactly the same tank as the M4 except the turret and main gun and Tamiya has a lot of parts in stock that are listed out of stock for the M4.

Wow, it really surprised me that they are not going to have stock again!. I ordered a couple of pieces there like one week ago.

Yep, the super sherman hull is the same as the M4 but in tan, the diferences are on the turret an in the price, lol.

Next time you can order some bits at axel's modelbau or at seidel's modelbau in germany.

That's odd. AAF usually has parts unless their fixing to not carry it anymore or Tamiya told em so.
