Oh, how cute.. Look, it's a baby tank..When he grows up he wants to be just like his big brother.. But he has to get out of diapers first..

Default 1:10 hooben tiger

Hi, does anyone have a schematic or a photo of the multi function system for this tank, I brought this tank without any instructions and now it seems to be giving a few problems , not sure if all the connections are correct. Thanks

Drop an email to Kate at [email protected]. She can help. If you're on FB, look them up Hooben & post your question on their group page.

No idea what the Tiger weighs but I guess its well under 20 pounds after having picked one up. Hooben's 1/10 tanks are not heavy given they are all plastic except for the stamped steel hull & gearbox, brass PE parts & optional aluminum barrel - remainder is ABS & 3DP.

The Hetzer I got late January weighs all of 4.7kg with battery to give you an idea on what to expect. For comparison, my hybrid Mato/Nick Aquilar M4A1 weighs about the same.

Wow.. I'm surprised by that.. My Tiger 1 weighs in at almost 20 pounds, and it's the 1/16 version.. I was expecting the bigger tank to weigh more.. However, my tank has been rebuilt with mostly metal parts.. So that does make a difference..

Just checked with Hooben & was told the Tiger weighs "around 10kg" so I wasn't far off - 22lbs.

Hi Guys, I Just got into the hobby of RC Tanks. Reading through your post from 2018 to 2020 was very insightful. Furthermore i couldnt agree more that 1:10 scale rc tanks are the perfect size its not too big and its not too small. Currently im planning to get the Tiger-1 1:10 scale rc tank, Do you guys have any experience to share with me about the 1:10 scale rc tank. In terms of maintenance and general care? My biggest concern are the nylon tracks breaking.

If the tracks are made well they shouldn't be a problem. The key element (IMHO) is the track pin/hinge point. If the pins are too large the track links are weak there; if too small
the pin could bend or break under load. Plastic tracks for 1/10 scale has been done before very successfully.

I recently saw a new model from Hooben, its a T-34/85 model. Im tempted to pre-order it, however i have read some messages complaining about the late deliveries.
Anyone has any experience dealing with hooben?
I am unable to post any URL because i have not reached 10 submissions to the forum.

DO NOT preorder from Hooben! Until their model appears in a normal store, you buy a render

Hooben has a horrible reputation for taking money on pre-orders and then not delivering on time, sometimes as much as two years late. Most of the guys on the Forum will tell you, do NOT pre order anything from hooben, and you're even taking a chance if they say they have the item in stock. Of all the tank manufacturers in the world, hooben has the worst reputation by far.
