There was a North American vendor out of Canada but has since moved on. Far as I know best bet is to order direct.

Better to buy direct from Benedini direct, he will bend over backwards to get the system as you want with the right sounds loaded and setup as you need. He even set mine up for open panzer out the box.

You also get access to the sound library on his site, I'm not sure buying from a third party gets you that.

This is not Benedini but I found it better. Its made in Canada. You can make your own sound files it comes with the sound editor. Lots of extras for gun flashes sounds of opening and closing of the canopy or landing gear. I have a 6S lipo battery that I run my aircraft at and power the system from the same pack using two 4 inch speakers. He has removed his phone number from his add because of the amount of spam but he responds quite quickly via email

HaHa thank you for waking my brain. I have that card with airplane files as well as the tank set. I forgot all about that.. I too am using the Open Panzer board with a Sabertooth controller, so its awesome to know they will play together.
Any special hints or settings you recommend?

Each plane has its own micro SD card with the appropriate sound files. Each model has its own speaker system permanently left in. The sound card is held in with Velcro and can be easily transferred from model to model. Electrical connections are a common plug. Each model has a little pocket inside where the micro SD card is stored.

I pick a model to fly while installing batteries I push the SD card into the sound board then place it into the plane and connect the electrics with one plug. Done as fast as putting the lipos in the model.

I am curious to hear more about this sound unit from Tankers.
Can it be used plug n play with the Open Panzer board?
Does it have the same capabilities to be used in an IR tank?
Are the pre loaded sounds including tank hit sounds, incoming sounds, and destroyed sounds?
Are the sounds and parameters able to be changed by the consumer?

I noticed its similar in price to the TBS Mini after to buy the program cable for the TBS and the Programming software for the Shockwave (39.99USD)

Again its over $220 just for sound.

I am interested, I would just like more input from Tankers.

Thanks,
Shad

Hello guys, what do yo think about this product? It seems to be a clone of the Benedini but cheaper.

I've sent two messages to Thomas for information on modifying or adding sound to his sound cards and no response (been almost two weeks). So kind of doubt he's responsive.

All I want to know is can the voice sound of the German Commander from World of Tanks (the older game) be added? Here is what I'm after:
or maybe this one:

This will be for my Taigen Panther F, which I might add I'm putting in Roland's Gearboxes and he is reliable.......
https://www.modellspiegel.com/

I talked to Dominique at rctank.de and he says it is possible on the ELMOD board that the commanders sounds can be added and even sent examples.

Going to put in Clark's TK40 S-Bus after his quick response last night and getting it from his Distributor Kenny (my friend in the DAK club) in Phoenix.

Edit

I want to update the status of messages I sent to Thomas at Benedini. He responded today letting me know that the sounds/voices I want cannot be added to the sound cards. I appreciate his responding and letting me know it can't be done with the sound system.

I apologize for being critical to him and his business and hope to do future business. The sounds for the Panther are great btw.

Duane
