Default tried the Walterson's tanks?

Was just @ the Museum's website and noticed the Walterson's line of RC tanks.
Never heard anyone mention them. Man, they're cheap enough. But are they worth messing with?

Yes the Walterson's 1/24th line is great actually and has a pretty advanced battle system compared to most others with team based play. They are 2.4GHz but use IR for battling. They are mainly indoor tanks but can handle some minor rough terrain. The Pershing and Abrams are next in line and actually on order now. The AAF will be one of the first to get them, I have them on the very top of my list actually

Yes, they are nice but your going to be limited on people to play with. Not alot of 1/24 IR battlfields. If your just looking for home they are great.

Yeah, I figure to run 'em in the house. The 1/16s aren't clean enough and don't have any room to maneuver.

Do you have any idea when AAF might have them for sale?

Thanks for the link, but I've tried to call a couple of times and gotten no answer. You see, when I tried to purchase a couple off the website it looks like they are in stock, yet the My Cart automation won't get past the place where you discover the cost of shipping. So I figured I'd drive up there and "save the cost of shipping" I'd like to do that during the week, but didn't know if the Museum Shop is open during the week.

It'd be a shame to drive that distance only to find the retail shop closed. Or to drive there on the weekend and find they're still on the top of Imex-Erik's list and haven't been shipped yet.

They are on the top of the list, just waiting on them from Waltersons. I can't make another manufacturer go any faster but they are aware there is lots of demand. I myself am waiting on the Abrams too...

Just drove over to the museum and bought the T-34, last 1/24 they had in stock.
Waiting for the batteries to charge before trying it out.

It comes with a working infrared target. Hooo Hahhh
It's worth the money just to get that. Wonder if it'll work with other brands of I/R? Gonna try that too.
