I have no plans to make any kind of paintball kit for this tank, just simulated recoil with a servo, and gun elevation with another servo. Working on those upgrades now. For the recoil you would need more then 4 channel radio with mixing to control the recoil, probably running through a sound system or something.

I just got the turret rotation kit listed on my site: https://spykerworkshop.com/shop/6sca...-rotation-kit/

I get the Hobbywing ESC's from amazon or hobbyking.com its the 1060 model. The radio from hobbyking as well.

I've been working on the elevation and recoil CAD, printing it now!

Did you use the tx to mix the tracks into one sicks, ou did you get a mixer for it? I've seen where people use the v tail to mix the tracks.

Yeah this is the radio here, Its V-Mix works perfectly for tanks. In all my test vids I'm using it. Its not on one stick though, but you could open the radio up and swap the potentiometer wires around to make it one stick. Stock uses left stick up, moves both tracks forwards, right stick left/right mixes the tracks to steer This is the ESC's

I just got the gun elevation/recoil kit video made and product listed on my store! This completes the whole Sherman upgrade set now.

TheGreatMoo, What are the actual dimensions of the elevation/recoil kit? I saw the 8x8x4 inches on the your site, but am wanting to see if it would work on my 1/8 scale Tiger II. Thanks, Rudy

Ryan
Looks awesome. You did a great job with all the upgrades. I wish I could convince you to do a sound board integration - THEN it would be complete!

I need to save my coin to get this kit- all the upgrades are bit more than I planned. But a great RC model after your upgrades.

Seems like the model is a still a bit on the light side. Do you think a bit more weight would give the tracks better purchase? Or overtax the plastic parts?

Great work - and amazingly fast development!

Nice deal Ryan!

Be sure to post a new thread on your Dragon 1/6 Pz.Kpfw II C parts once you get time to start that project.

Its not a new kit per se. Its the same 105/75mm combo they issued before but molded in Olive drab apparently. May have to pick one up for spare parts - as Dragon care isn't responding.

Hi Bob
You're right, was in a hurry to post that before work & didn't read it thoroughly.

Ryan, did you ever come up with a sprocket upgrade?
will the Deleon tracks work with the dragon sprocket or will they need modifications
cheers

My Delrin tracks work perfectly with the stock sprockets, my transmission kit comes with a part that spaces them out a little and provides a hex mount point for the drive shaft. If you have already assembled your sprocket they may not work with them.
