My new Russian Truck
My new Russian truck with the 3D printed tires and rims courtesy of Martin for the design. Still have some clean up to do on the decals and some detailing but 99% good to go...

I like it, nice work. I’ve been thinking about pulling the trigger on one of these. A few questions: what power setup did you use if you swapped out the stock one? Is there room for a sound system under the hood?

Dean, that's very cool. And I love your driver. Are you gonna share that source, or is he a one-off from the spares box? Paco found some cool driver's but so far he hasn't said where or how much they cost. Drivers are another reason I really want a resin printer. I'm thinking about a D7. Proven and the bugs are mostly worked out, and not a bad starter printer.
evlwevl, I'm not sure what Dean has put under the hood but I used a HK esc (20 amp, about 8 bucks) and a HK steering servo. I put the sound system in 3D printed wood crates in the bed.

I just left it stock. It's going to be more of a prop for our battlefield. Battery sits under the hood so no room for speaker. If I was going to upgrade everything and drop an aftermarket board in it I would scratch build a frame and put a cover over the rear and hide everything in there. Disguise it all as cargo...

Your model released in the series after the war.
A copy of the K-7.
If you want you can put a number on the door and remove the star, we didn’t have them ...
It turned out 99% beautiful ....

Those wheels of Martins are nice, they really complete the look.
No red stars on Russian trucks and tanks back then, but they did do this.

Gotta say that marking looks kinda photoshopped o.O
Also - the guy in uniform is definetly not Russian

The truck is a Russian GAZ-AA truck, and the solder is German. The photo is from page 48 of the book "Images of War, Fighting in the Ukraine, A Photographer at War", by David Mitchelhill-Green from Pen and Sword books.
