Appears the upgrade version is now shipping. Saw a post today on RCCrawler from someone who just ordered his & has big plans for it: Just be 100% certain you are ordered the upgrade version with light & sound. I'm still waiting for a reply on my needs for the modules.

I just ordered the Dark Green one with installed lights and sound kit. First mod is locking the diffs. The kit supposedly comes with the necessary parts to do this. Second mod is installing a 6ch spectrum reciever so I can use my DX5. Third mod is to get the headlights to stay on all the time. Fourth mod is the Hummer replica wheels and military tires from RC4WD with Crawler Innovations foams. Fifth mod is a is Revolver motor from Holmes Hobby and Mamba ESC. Finally weather it up and scale it out with a driver, passengers and any other cool accessories I can find. Can you tell I'm excited?

Good choice, Erik. Overall, am very impressed with this Hummer & will say HG offers one of the best RTR values for the money.

Not sure if HengGaun is behind all thos 8x8s on the market however aren't these the models that usually are 1/12 but often get advertised
as 1/10? I have a Cross and and an Anewi(?) that I believe are 1/12. I had a Capo 1/10 Tatra 8x8 but sold it last year because I kept
reading about problems with a weak drive train.

They're 1/12. Only the Hummer is 1/10.
