I have to say, I'm not into tanks in the least, I'm more an A-10 kinda guy and only came here because of the reported posts. But that being said, I can appreciate workmanship and some of you guys do fantastic work and I'm finding it very interesting.

Hi Guys
Thanks for the kind words - I do what I can. My arthritis gets in the way - so my builds tend to be slow.
Impatience with that sometimes results in less than the desired results - I'll probably redo the gunner telescope apeture for instance.

Mal
Forgot to mention this time, have a look at the Armortek Chieftain builds, lots of interesting stuff there - Chieftain MBT - Armortek -

Amazing attention to detail and mad scratch building skills being shown on the Chieftain. I know how difficult it is to craft those smaller details by the number of times I’ve failed with them.on my own models. My hat is off to you sir. Well done indeed.

Hi Tankman
Thanks for the kind words, I've still got a couple more posts to make to catch up to where I'm at, but will post those in the next day or two.

Just been over to HH and seen what your doing Mal all I can say is your attention to detail is top rate. Those little turret and barrel details although small set this model apart. Well done indeed.

Thanks Tankman - have made a couple more posts too.

Hi Elefant - With the software changes that have been made here, what was once a relatively straight forward exercise, has become more complex. My photo posting is fairly complex anyway, mixing build photos with ref pics from multiple folders. Combine the two, and it becomes an unproductive use of time to duplicate the effort, which I'd prefer to use building.
Cool?

I have just installed DKLM gearbox and a WH board with Chieftain sound on mine, can confirm it fits with pretty minimal cutting (several support columns at the gearbox area).
The gearbox can reuse the original hull bearing so the drive shaft is super stable. Can expect improvements at offroad with that monster torque!

The DKLM PDSGB (slow) is one of the best upgrades I’ve done to my Tiger. Solid as a rock and quiet as a mouse. Very hefty and tankish.

That would be Carson's own Chieftain!
I just got mine done and haven't taken photos yet.
