HL 6.1 Question?
How can I tell which HL tanks have the TK-6.1 mainboard installed (separate part number from 6.0 equipped perhaps?)
Link to vendor offering that has 6.1 would be appreciated !

I can confirm that the Abrams Pro Plus Edition has a TK6.1S, not a TK6.1. I can't attach photos here for some reason, so I hope it's alright if I cross-post to my thread here with photos of my tank with said TK6.1S:

For the conventional Upgrade Edition and Professional Edition tanks, so far only the Abrams and T-90 Professional editions we're bringing in have had the TK6.1 pre-installed but I suspect those were flukes. The majority of the other TK6 tank models, in all editions, are all TK6.0S.
TK6.0 = Proportional everything, IR, airsoft, adjustable track recoil, adjustable turning/speed/etc ("expo")
TK6.0S = TK6.0 with a better smoker circuit
TK6.1 = TK6.0S with ports for cannon recoil servo, cannon elevation servo, light sensor, and cannon stabilizer (gyro)
TK6.1S = TK6.1 with higher ampacity (160A)
Note, not all Heng Long tanks have been TK6'd yet. So far Heng Long has implemented this on 15 of their 24 tanks.

I've been out of it for a little bit. Does Taigen have a similar system? For awhile Taigen was way out in front of HL's electronics. Sounds like HL is working hard to make improvements.

Hey Philip, good to see ya back. Yeah, HL has serious;y upped their game, and I have to say they've far surpassed TG for both control and functions. They've been making steady improvements to the 5.3, but the new 6.0 and 6.1 are a real step forward for RTR tanks. I have a video of the JP I got with 6.0, and it really performs well.

Have either figured out how to make the main gun go up and down with the joy stick (preferably the same one that causes the turret to rotate)?

The HL TK6.1 has a plug for a recoil servo. The HAYA Chieftain fires BB's and IR and has recoil, that uses a rebranded TK6.1
