Here is a size comparison with my 1/6 model. By the way, a 1/6 model would also be available if someone is really interested.

Im manufacturing the prototype at the moment and I think I can show it next week. If there are orders after that, the delivery time will be 3-4 weeks for the first kits.

But its not really a kit like you know it from Revell or Tamiya. The finished turret will consist of 9 larger and 4 smaller parts. Most parts are fixed by screws. The recoil will be functioning by springs and the gun is supported by ball bearings.

That sounds like a kit to me in the cottage industry hobby we are in.
If all the parts are there, and they fit together with stuff you supply, its a kit.
Otherwise its like an nick agulair urethane turret shell. Here ya go, figure out how to make everything fit and work inside it if you dare hahaha.

Either way I can complete anything... Cant wait to get one from you. Looks like I will bump my Leo1 from the place in line it is up to next behind my m47 build.

Thank you all for the compliments.

The two hatches are part of the upper plate. I could create a second version of it for existing hatches if you could provide some dimensions.

Also if someone is interested I would also offer lasercut sheetmetal parts for the basket either from brass or stainless steel. If the whole thing is soldered it should be very sturdy.

By the way the turret has realistic material thickness, therefore its very robust and comparatively heavy.

I'm sure we would like options... operational hatches or in a fixed position, metal or plastic basket (or no basket at all) and a metal gun barrel.

There also might be some other areas of the kit that need upgrading too.

I am ready to order even with the molded hatches. Leopard 1 and 2 hatches are really close if not the same and I have both Leopard 1&2 hatch’s sitting in my parts bin that can be easily fitted. The basket options are nice but I would be fine with printed ones to start if that moves the availablity ahead sooner.
