Default Heng Long Transmitter to Spektrum

I’ve been trying to figure out a answer, I can’t seem to be able to come across a solution. How do I upgrade/change my 2.4Ghz Heng Long Panzer III or a 2.4Ghz Taigen Tiger 1. Can I change any of these receivers to bind to my DX-8? I would love to use it to increase the range, and since I use it for almost everything I have RC. Any help would be amazing.

Thank you!

Heng Long Uses a closed R/C System, It cannot function with a non Heng Long Transceiver,
The same applies to pre Version 2/3 Taigen R/C tanks,
I could offer an exception but I would be muddying the waters even more if I did,
To use your DX8 you would need to change your Heng Long Control Board for an aftermarket board or a Taigen Version 2/3 Control Board. Not forgetting a compatible DX8 receiver.

That would be why I’m posting it. I’ll happily swap out the old receiver for one that is compatible. Hopefully it doesn’t cost a lot though. I have a bunch of 6ch receivers compatible with my DX-8. I have OrangeRx R615x’s

Where are you in the World ?If you are in the USA then IMEX Florida is who you talk to if you want a Taigen Version 3 control board and ERIK is the main man who will help you,
Think in the region of $50+.But Erik will be able to give you an accurate figure,
Go to U Tube to see how to install the board.
