I found an unpainted epoxy resin kit for a Schwimmwagen driver and front seat passenger on eBay. I already have the Michael Wittman driver figure Torro #85115 but he refuses to get behind the seat of my Torro 1/16 schwimmwagen. He is, however, willing to seem to operate the prop rod for fording water:

I think I'd like to make the driver and front seat passenger field grey, hopefully they will all go together with the desert scheme schwimmwagen. I know nothing about painting figures, and my hand is not steady. But I am not going after detailed perfection here, just passable. Can anyone discuss a paint set that would be simple to use, yet take in basic highlight, shading, skin color. etc? I've seen kits by Andrea, Vallejo, and AK. Also, any comments about mixing a camo guy with field grey guys, all in a desert vehicle?
