Hey guys, thought you would like this new trailer from HG. It can hold our 1/16th scale tanks easily and it looks to scale as well.
This is my first video just unboxing and showing you the parts. I am currently building it and will have the video up soon.
Get it here if you are interested
Kit - https://bit.ly/2ZSyREh
Pre-built - https://bit.ly/3flgCha
It is fantastic quality all around. 98% of the kit is made from metal.

Thanks for the heads up,
What a beauty and considering the price of other 1/12 trailers it is a bargain,
Can you outline the available functions of the trailers controller?
My only regret is that I own the 1/12 HG 803-A Tipper BUT as it disassembles all the way to its chassis using the supplied tools and hand book just maybe I can make a prime mover out of it !!!

Yes free shipping on all HG trucks and trailers. While it may cost a bit more we do ship real fast and can help if something goes wrong. We are also getting parts for them in the future. We also got the cranes just over the weekend too, I'll add those shortly on the site.
Also I'm pretty sure you can use the dump truck with the trailer with the appropriate parts. I'll talk to them tonight and see what or if there is an adapter. I see one to go from 802 to 801 but not 803 to 802.

Toucan are selling the complete 5th wheel assembly for the HG 802 which makes me wonder if I could transpose it upon my P 803-A,
Afterall the 801/802 and 803 all share the same underpinnings.and while the wiring for the 802 drives a different service (5th Wheel) to the wiring in 803 (Tipper) the simple fact is that in both vehicles the wiring is present and in the same location on the chassis.
What I need is someone braver than me to give it a try..

Why do they pick 1/12 for these things? Either go all the way up to 1/10 for which there are some military options or 1/16 for which the options are even greater.
Not many compatible AFVs of any type in 1/12 except for a rather unexceptional Abrams.
IMHO a more interesting combo is a Asiatam 1/16 Famo with Sd Ah 116...

I think it's cool as hell and I'd love to own one, but the 1/12 thing is a deal beaker. I've already got more projects in both 1/16 and 1/6 than I have remaining life expectancy so the last thing I need to do is add another scale.

How does this compare to Cross RC's T247? The T247 seems larger, but doesn't seem to have as nice of a suspension or as robust of a wheel setup. I'm partial to the BC8 as the towing vehicle, and had hoped the larger size of the T247 might let me get away with something silly like cramming two smaller 1/16 scale tanks on it...
Otherwise, this seems like a great deal and is more readily available and in stock (which goes a long way)

Sitting on it is a good way to bend axles or break something. The Hummer is not the same scale though. It is 1/10th. Still not sure why they use two different scales.
