Default WCP 1/16 Wirblewind turret conversion

I am new here, but am certainly not new to the hobby.
I spend any free time i can find to design and make my own 1/16 models (aswell as other scales when the mood takes me)
I am well chuffed with this Wirblewind turret i have designed to fit a Panzer IV
The Flakvierling 38 is setup with bearings aswell so it moves smoothly.

Apparently i am not allowed to post a url link yet as i need 10 posts, so keep an eye out for later

Welcome, friend and my favorite 3D model creator! I can attest to the super high quality of his team’s models.

I think wcp models is going to be a very good thing for a lot of us. Almost ready to run models of rare vehicles at a decent price? What else could you ask for? I'm already down for the 251 and the famo, and I'm probably going to have to get a kubel as well.

Your products never cease to amaze me. However I’m saving my coins for a possible future release of a Famo to pull my 88. No hurry of course. I can wait a week or two.

It does make me wonder if Tamiya, Taigen and Heng Long are deaf or just don't care about the market they are selling into,
The call for an affordable 1/16 r/c Centurion and Famo has been echoing throughout the hobby for years and even now it is small specialist company's who cannot hope to fill the demand who have got their act together to the shame and probable damage to the big three's corporate pocketbooks,
It is reminiscent of the advent of the Silicon Chip and the Digital Camera and the Dot matrix/Laser printer which overnight destroyed "Kodak"and thousands of jobs in the printing and photograpic industries worldwide,
And they were lost because quite simply the Management of these multi million $$$ companies were blindsided,
Well nobody can say that 3D Printing caught anyone out because it has been freely available for some years and it was pretty clear that people with a mind for the main chance would take advantage of a massive gap in the market and little in the way of overheads and well done them because the ultimate winner is US the consumer.
So more power to WCP and HAYA and others we like what you are doing even if the big guns do not.

Just for the record, when you guys have fallen thoroughly in love with Will and WCP Models, I want it remembered that it was ME, Crius, that kept bugging him until he registered here. You're Welcome.

And if you end up hating him, I had nothing to do with it. Hey, there might be bugs on some of you mugs, but there ain't no bugs on me.

Many thanks. Yes it has to be said we grew out of a hobby and building stuff for ourselves because no one else does it. It gives us an overwhelming sense of pride to be able to share a few with enthusiasts & friends

Teflon coated eh Gary
Will (me) might be the design guy behind the models, but don't forget Catherine, she runs the show and has the eye for paint & details. I just do the easy fun bit

You've got it easy. This is what's behind me. Typical Russian lady, takes no prisoners and fights to the death.

I can personally attest that Will's wife is way out of his league and he doesn't come even close to deserving her. I'm still trying to figure out how he got so lucky!!

There have been some aswell who have modified the unit to run a 360° servo so that it can be wired up to work on a henglong electronic setup
