Vintage Henglong Tiger Electronics Missing

Here I have a tiger that I picked up from an auction with no remote. If you could look at the pictures and tell me what I'm missing. I either want to upgrade to a 2.4 MHz remote or just buy the correct transmitter. Could you please point me in the right direction, there is a lot of half information that I keep finding. It looks like there is some damage inside where the smoker should be and some holes drilled in the back. There is also a piece of black plastic floating around inside that I can't figure out where it came from.I don't even see a control unit or is this just so early it doesn't have one? Thanks everyone in advance.

To put this just back to stock, what is it missing from the original setup? Smoke generator, transmitter and receiver or?
I don't want to mislead anyone if I sell. The tank itself is in great shape.

Yes. It's one of the first batches of old HL Tiger. And in case of Heng Long it's not "vintage" it's just old
I've seen complete working 27Mhz sets like this even for around $25-$35.

One option you might consider is to put in a taigen electronics package. That costs $99.99 and I believe the shipping is free on orders over $75. You would have to rewire it and you would probably need some new cables, but I can probably help you with all of that. At no charge. What city and state are you located in? I'm in Detroit. I'm set up to make any kind of jst cables I need, and I have several of those eight pin connectors laying around so I can send you one of those. Basically, what you would have to do is disconnect the wires from the old r x 13 board and put jst plugs on the end of them so that you can plug them into the new mfu. Do you have Skype? I won't charge you for any of the parts or for my time, but if shipping gets excessive I might ask for a couple dollars to help cover that. If you want to keep that tank, I think that would be the way to go.

Another option would be to see if any of the guys here would be willing to rebuild it for you. Just send them the tank, let them do the work and send it back, for a reasonable fee that you'll have to negotiate.
