Heng Long T-90 battery?

For a while now I've been distracted from RC tanks by those 3d printed RC army trucks, so it's been a while since my last tank purchase. I just got a new Heng Long T-90 from the Taigen Tanks website Scratch and Dent section. It arrived in great shape, well packaged, with quick, free shipping. When I open the box it looks excellent, no broken parts or visible damage of any kind. I put the battery on the charger, following the instructions, and wait the 4 hours. The red LED flashes rapidly without stopping. I finally give up after 4 1/2 hours and pulled the battery off the charger and put it in the tank. Nothing happens. No lights, no sounds, nothing. Yes, the controller has new batteries in it and it seems to work. I've also charged the battery longer, with no change.
Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement and / or an upgraded battery that will work?
I have looked online, but so far have not found anything. I have several batteries for the old style Heng Long tanks, but this style of battery is new to me. The tank seems like a nice machine, it has metal tracks and road wheels, it's a PRO version with the 7.0 electronics, so I'm looking forward to finishing it with new paint and weathering. I also look forward to seeing how it battles with my Tamiya Leopard.
Thanks for any help you all may be able to offer.
Lastly, I'm surprised to find out that General Dynamics Land Systems makes Russian tanks! I had no idea...

Hobbyking sell LiFe batteries and I really do not think there is much between the Life and the LioN,
Both are certainly infinitely safer than LiPos.

I'll have to look at Hobbyking. Thanks.
It has that XY60 connector so I'm hoping to find one with that kind of connector.

A bit more info, I did up some redneck wiring so I could use one of my old tank batteries on the T-90 and it fired right up! All the functions seem to work, and the sound is very nice, much better than the older Heng Long tanks with the RX-18 board.. So now I know it's the battery that has a problem, not the tank.

I've bought some similar to the ones Rad posted and they work fine.

I opened the tank up, and there seems to be enough room for an old style battery in the bottom of the hull. I think my new plan is to design and 3d print a battery box with a cover that I can install in the bottom of the tank. That way I can use the same batteries and charger as all my other tanks.

I use radiomaster transmitter battery in my type 10. It’s a small battery, it has an xt30 connector so I use an adapter.
