Default Attracks 1/16th scale tracks

Spotted on armorama - https://armorama.com/news/attracks-b...jQzMDkuMC4wLjA. -

Interesting development, though not sure if they'd work for RC - maybe just for static?

His other tracks are for RC. These look like they are suitable.

They are for RC use. He made T-55 track for the Hoobin model, and 1/16 Hetzer track for Warprints. He was supposedly working on 1/6 Hetzer track - but haven't heard anything in over a year.

I have a 1/6 Hetzer that could use a spare set of tracks, Anyone know if he's done hetzer tracks in 1/6 and the big question, how much? I think those plastic delron tracks for 1/6 shermans are over a thousand, has anyone ever bought tracks from armortek, if they even sell them separately?

Hi Gary
has anyone ever bought tracks from armortek, if they even sell them separately? - They definitely do, they used to list them in their shop, but looking today, you have to contact & ask them - https://www.armortek.co.uk/armortek-shop/ -
I got 3 1/6th Cent links a couple of years ago - 2019 - with shipping to NZ was just under 10 UK pounds each

Gary,
I've asked ATTRACKS on FB about the 1/6 scale Hetzer tracks and never gotten a response, even though he posted (2years ago) that he's developing them. The Armortek Hetzer tracks are really nice, very light weight Aluminum - but may need Sprocket/Idler tweaking to fit your Spearhead model. They would not be cheap if they are available (~$800-900 USD). They may have them since they just produced a Hetzer kit not long ago - you'd have to reach out to AT customer service (Monique) for quote and availability.

The Spyker injection molded Sherman tracks and end connectors were $550 once upon a time. They are Delrin plastic and hold up well.

I'm working with a guy in OZ to make steel tracks but don't have a timeline. Price for steel would be about $1000 USD.

Sorry not many options for a replacement set. If your handy with CAD and have a printer - you can make a link CAD file and 3D print a set. That is time consuming and you must use the right materials (ASA, PETG, Nylon) - but you can make your own.

The Achilles heal of any tank project is the tracks! Once you have that the rest is easy(er).
