That will be in a few days, but we are planning an M60 "fun run" day. I just sent him the copula off the spare A3 turret I had after buildup the A2 so he could finish his up.

The TongDe /DKLM M60A2 sharing the spotlight with fellow M60s at the LA Tank Clubs June 2023 battle day event. The A2 performed well and gave a account of itself.

Have to say that TongDe really judged the market right with a competitively-price M60
base that lends itself to a myriad of variants. They’ve been super-responsive to feedback, not by making promises but by making actual changes to their product. I’m looking forward to what else they have next in their pipeline!

Well the M60A2 had its second official club battle day. This time in San Diego with the SD tank club on their huge field. The terrain in SD is varied with lots of flat open, concealment brush, hills and ravines, and endless amounts super silty fine sand(perfect for scale tank) so it was a great test for the A2s driving and fighting dynamics.

Overall the M60A2 did really well. As expected it's short barrel made maneuvering up and down the hills, through the ravines and in brush effortless. The wide track did great at evacuating the silty sand and I never experienced a "thrown" track the entire day.

Overall it made for a fun and effortless day of driving and shooting.

M60A2 Tracks easily clearing the silty sand.

Making easy work of a small hill.

One of the smaller ravines. These made for not only a fun obstacle to drive through but as forced you to have to constantly elevate and depress the main gun to achieve a proper aim. Tanks with long barrels had to work a bit harder then the A2 when crossing these do to their barrel lengths.

Hard tuna in silty sand were no problems for the A2. Track's stayed nicely in place.

Here the M60A2 engages a M60A3

M60A2 engaging an Abrams at long range. Abrams is circled in black.

Business end of the M60A2 and in the background a Challenger 2.

Just an update since I have been asked how the wheels and suspension are holding up.

This is the current state of the road wheels, track and suspension arms. Lots of use in the dirt and sand. All are holding up very well.
