Default Scale Fasteners - dealers

I spend a lot of time trying to find small size fasteners (by small sizes I mean M1, BA12 or BA14, or 00-80 types of sizes.) at reasonable prices and often have to start from scratch because I forgot to bookmark a site. There used to be a list I think on this site but now I cannot find it so I am posting some of the shops I use in case anyone else ever needs to save some time.

If a moderator knows where the original list was, he can just move this post over to that thread.

Im not endorsing any of these but have purchased from the most of them and personally have never had any trouble. Bear in mind that prices for many smaller sizes are really high for some reason.

Some of the sites have english versions and if not Google Translate goes a long way.

This German site offers a really good selection of scale rivets and bolts of all sorts, both threaded and imitation and at (relatively) really good prices!!

Another German site offering a decent selection at characteristic prices:

A Polish shop with a good selection for small sizes:

A UK shop that is known to the most of use with some imperial and metric small sizes:

Another UK supplier (you have to dig a bit to find what you want):

A difficult to use French supplier (old fashioned) with a website in best 1990s style and you have to download a catalogue (!!!!). But the selection they have is really good.

MaccModels in teh UK with a good selection of fasteners down towards 12BA for hex heads:

GHW Modellbai in Germany with a great selection of imitation and real fasteners:

Great German supplier of small screws and bolts and so on:

The well known Knupfer shop in Germany:

The equally well known Fechtner modellbau:

The Bruce Engineering section of the Polly Model Engineering website has a good selection but it is a download the catalogue and email the order type of thing:

The Microfasteners website in the States with a good selection of small stuff but using some arcane system of sizes which I for one cannot fathom:

Another US supplier of some really small stuff:

Staying across the pond, Model Motorcars have a nice selection (I think they took over some other well know small scale supplier whos name I cannot remember at some point):

Yet another American supplier of some nice small fasteners:

A quaint American supplier of small nuts and bolts and things:

If anyone has any others, it would be nice to get a llink.

I am always on the look out for very small hinges which are really hard to get (not the 9x12 mm cigar box hinges that are everywhere).
