Any 1/16 French tanks on the market?
#1

Hello, I'm rather new to 1/16 RC tanks with a Tamyia Pershing currently in my possession.
Was just wondering if there are any 1/16 French Tanks out there like the AMX-30, AMX 56 Leclerc and AMX 13. Came across Flamme's AMX 30, would love to know whether he still produces or even sells them overseas. Any help is much appreciated

Personally I would jump at buying a AMX 30 made by Tamiya, Heng Long, Taigen or TongDe but that is probably something we will not be seeing anytime soon.

Heard lots of complaints about the Ludwig AMX-13 from some folks that bought it dealing with the quality of the prints since it is 3D printed. The only French tanks I know of are 3D printed...Inkor is making an AMX-13 for release in a few months and he has made a Leclerc.

I have to be careful here, since my German dna makes me want to make fun of the French and that tends to get me in trouble, but I'll try to control myself long enough to suggest that you go to youtube and search "Char 2C in 1/16" and you'll find an excellent model of a Char that was built by one of our members (1qaz). The good part is that he had a lot of parts printed at shapeways, and I'm sure they'd be happy to sell them to you as well, should you decide to try building one.
Hope that helps.

Hope that helps.

it‘s not a big deal to assemble Ludwigs AMX-13, but you should have some skillfull hands for mechanical works.
this is mine, running well since years (still the RX-18, 27MHz used):
