Looked at the Hooben site today - they have an M113.
Have thought for a while that the company who comes out with a good M113 in 1/16th would make a killing in the market.
Of course the catch is whether this is "good".
Being Hooben lowers the likely hood of that, but won't know for sure till someone other than me dips their toe....

saw that too just now. so many modification possibilities with an M113: a 577, a FISTV, an M113FO (Bundes FA observer), and on and on. but I’m suffering with my Hooben Leo2A4 so I’m gun-shy. have the BMP-2 coming…hope it’s better but I cringe that I may need to rework as much. so more than gun-shy about the M113.

The issue is Hooben...and how long it takes to actually see one of their vehicles materialize. Then once they are shipped, how damaged will it be when it arrives and then how long will it take Hooben to fix the issue. There are some folks that haven't even gotten their trucks and trailers that were supposed to be delivered last year. The HIMARS was supposed to ship in May...it's now September. Their delivery and pre-order times are usually 8 months or more late. Usually more.
I printed an M113 rather than order one of theirs. At least when I print it, I have unlimited spare parts and I expect to make detail enhancements. The BMP 1 and BMP 2 are also available to print so Hooben's really has no appeal for me.

Still a lot of post processing to do, but it didn't take a year to arrive either.

The issue with Hooben now is not if it arrives, it will arrive. I have bought two expensive hooben tanks. The Merkava 4m and the Leopard 1a5. Both arrived packed very well. They did arrive later than they said but they are a small shop so I just let it go and wait.
The problem is if you run them, keeping them running.
First off, everything is 3d printed except the meta hull. So buy the metal control arm and sprocket upgrades for sure like I did with the leapard 1a5.
Then there is their transmissions. Both tanks have ate up the ball bearings and they fell apart, in the tranys. So as soon as you get it, tear them down and replace all the bearings with ones from fast eddy or Semi Joe.
Sadly with my 1a5 a shouldered gear shaft broke off so I am still waiting for a new shaft after many months. Communication has been slow. but I paid the 5 dollars shipping for it.
Darn its tempting to order that, I just dont have the hobby funds at this time.
