Progressing steadily, got the lower hull back together, slip ring has been installed in the turret along with the CROWS and painting has started on that

How to hide the hull seam, please note the 1/16 scale screws, thinking I'll just fill the heads. Also started weathering without an actual clue

The screws on the tow bar are T shaped pins in real life. So you could literally sand them down flat with a Dremel and fill the tops. I think I ended up using two different sized of styrene rod and gluing them together to make some pins, but in the future I will 3D print the pins. Making a simple T pin in the slicer is pretty easy using the Orca slicer.

Looking good!

For your tow cable mounts, do a "T" shaped piece for the front and then heat and bend a sheet of styrene for the back mount. I did my weathering using real clay dirt. It can be washed off if I don't like a spot, and then re applied. Clay soil in a cup with 1 drop of dish soap and some water. Add water as needed.

None of the weathering on my Abrams is paint.
