Default Security Tiger I

So, my second Tiger has to have a special homework - he has to safeguard the house !

Different changes are necessary to reach the main topic goal :

At first security-tiger has to get eyes:

put directly over the KWK you can sit in front of your TV and shoot the invaders

... dog is happy about the reinforcement ...

At second he has to be a perfect marksman ...

so ...

shooting exercises

I will inform you about the development ...

Greetings,

Stern

I got the waterproof version of that camera.

I will use it on tank missions and on my 1/5th scale trucks and my large scale boat too.

Hallo,

for the washing and dry brushing I use:

"Schmincke artist oil paint" with a lot of thinner that the colour will only "sit" in the rough edges ...

burned umbra
white
yellow

dry brushing with a very dry brush that only pigments of the colour will be placed on the rough edges of the tank ...

Greetings,

Stern

Since you like the camera so much Stern you should make a short vid on how you do that so those of us that are less experienced can see it in action.

Stern that is where I was going to place my switches and possibly a chargin jack, but the exhaust tubing goes over that section and blocks the hatch from opening. Are you going to leave the tubing off the rear now?

No, I slacked the tubes at the end that is at the "Feifel" (end of the tank) - so it is easy to put them of and on ...

This is not perfect - but good working - depends a little what you place there - I will put the on/off switch and the sound volume controller ...

On longer view I will built the Air Filter System of the late version - without the tubes ...

Greetings,

Stern

P.S.:

Is your wife on the mend ? Get well soon to her !

She's home now...just tok a trip to Wal-Mart so she could walk inside. Dr. said she needs to walk a bit so she doesn't get stiff.
Thanks for the concern.

Stern, got a couple of questions for you.

1. How did you cut the hatches out so neatly (the round ones on the front)?

2. What type of switch are you going to use for your charging jack? I am going to use a double pole double throw switch, but the voltages for the hobby style, small switches have me a little concerned because I charge my batteries up to 5 volts. From what I have read (and an email from Hobbico) the receiver charging harness switches are only rated at about 1-1.5 volts. I REALLY don't want to burn my tank down.

Why not put the on/off switch in the rear of the tank with the volume control? Just curious, seems like you have plenty of room back there to have them both. Hopefully I will have enough room to place the charging plug (dean's Ultra PLug), charging switch and on/off switch. Might even place the volume know there if room permits.

Hallo Stang,

1.)

I used a Dremel with a very thinn saw blade and a razor blade - the result depends on the time you take and how carefull you work ...

Mine is a short work for this Security-Tiger with the conceptual formulation that it should
a) look fine from the top
b) is working well and will live long
c) from the bottom it can be how it wants to be - I do not dit in this tank

2.)

So far I have made nothing for the charging jack ...

3.)

On the one hand sometimes I need the place for the battery (of the camera) ... depending on the terrain ...
on the other hand it is easier to turn the tank on this place on ... the volumne controll I do not use so often ...

Greetings,

Stern
