That has to be an American design... my first guess was a German Jagdpanzer but after looking it up it wasn't the case...

What is this thing?

I know of at least two that are being planned in 1:16 th scale.
It will be 18-24 months before mine is finished.
Mine is still in planning stages.

The other will be done sooner I expect since the person building it is
much more talented and has equipment that I need to 1. buy and 2. learn to use

James

You making a T28? Bet it will take two Pershing kits to build it up. That double track is going to be a nightmare!

Eric,

yes I am planning on a T28 (and its ALL your fault) .... no pershing kit. ... but 16 sets of boogies from sherman kits and six tracks which will have to be split and put together at the correct length... going to do the lower hull out of 1/4" U channel. The problem I am going to have is the milling. I want to learn to do this myself as opposed to pay Daryl to do the work. So I am going to take some classes at the local community college.
The barrel is another problem it is 42 cm long! ( I want to make it threaded so I can remove it for transport)
As well as the compound curves on the upper hull. (thinking vacum formed plastic for that not sure though)
Also the part to lock the outer drive sprocket to the inner one will be interesting I have some ideas. I do have 1:16 scaled drawings now which of course is a big help.
