Okay, I have a good possible connection for a tamiya King Tiger... the thing is, I'm leaning toward the Tiger I as my choice.

Where are the good places to buy? Tower seems to be about average, maybe a bit higher, but reputable. Everywhere else has been either hundreds more, or "too good to be true" priced(shipping costs make up for any savings). I've looked around, and many of the hobby sites have looked pretty "iffy" to me.

Ebay will be your best option. I have purchased over half of my tank arsenal from Ebay. The brick and motor stores just can not seem to beat internet pricing of virtual shops in Hong Kong. I can personally recommend Ebay seller "must_bid" very professional and reliable.

Backyard Armor (Pensylvania) and Stella Models (California) are also fair choices as far as service and pricing.

If you are going to order from Backyard Armor, maker sure they have the parts in stock. If you use PayPal, make sure you file any complaints within their time limit. I was too nice and waited too long. Still waiting for photo etched parts that I order last NOVEMBER. Parts the I have already paid for.

I agree StellaModels has great prices, RCMart has great packaging prices are higher than stella who is even cheaper than the hongkongcowboy on ebay.

ps Stella sells on ebay as well and sometimes is even cheaper then their site
