Not only are Tamiya tanks expensive, but some modelers have put hundreds of hours into detailing them, which many HenLong owners have done as well. One thing you need to know about the Tamiya Battle unit is that with each hit, the tank becomes slower and slower. There are sound effects that emulate battle damage, too. Will the upcoming HenLong battle units that interact with the Tamiya battle units allow HenLong tanks to slow down (at a comparable rate) like the Tamiyas? I sure hope so, cause I wanna see hundreds of tanks duking it out!!
