Default SHELF DISPLAYS FOR TANKS

HI tankers ,

i would like some ideas and pics of your tank displays and shelfs please.

want to built display shelfs for my tank ,not too big ,but enough to make some sort of 2 or 3 diorama shelfs.[&:]
would like to see how you did manage to fit tanks with your house .

i think it is an important point that can make all the difference between looking childish to a serious adult hobby.
thanks in advance [sm=thumbup.gif]

Are you saying you want ideas on building a shelf display that also has a scene, or scenery for display of the tanks?

To be certain, I have not seen anything that big before, at least where a 1/16 tank is concerned but there's countless examples of 1/35 dioramas in magazines like FineScale Modeler. Seems adding the diorama to a section of shelf would be simple enough.

There's a thread some way back about tank storage with pics of a vertical storage rack but it was for pure function mainly.
Love to have a diorama of an RC tank parked in a section of burnt-out city block and then be able to surprise people due to the fact that the tank really works and can drive out of the scenery...

that would be awsome harq (drive away)

want to do something like a vertical rack or shelfs and adding stuff to make it sort of a diorama, not easy with the 1:16 scale[&o]

but just neat storage pics would be nice, hopefully someone will post their shelfs.

thanks harquebus

reading that post that i have missed ,made me think of another problem that i did`nt think of.. "the dust factor" ,diorama shelfs would need a clear glass shield to keep the dust off .[:@]

hoping to return you the favor in the futur.
