HL Panzer III Afrika Corps
I just bought my third HL PzIII, which comes in the SD.KFZ.141/1 Afrika Corps paint scheme. According to the seller, the tank has not been repainted and arrived from the factory in desert color. Someone asked a while back if HL would make an Afrika Corps version, and apparently HL has manufactured a batch.

RE: HL Panzer III Afrika Corps
HI..All
How have you all been ??
One of my lasts posts the frustration had set in although my panther was still in near new condition
getting the right parts was the frustration, I had considered several ways to blow it up but it was decided that it was time for it to find a new home and it did I hope they have as much fun with it as I did,
with the non s&s versions not available at that time,( A tamiya tank on EBAY AUSTRALIA under 500.00 as I type this) the panzer 3 in two different versions now available ,,
was the walkerbulldog and the snow leopard available in s&s ??? as an auzzie ebay seller claims to be selling these ..
question ?? are these spy cameras that claim to have a range of 1.5 - 2 km really any good ??
as I had thought about getting a 1:12 and removing the cannon off the turret and put on a small spy camera of this type maybe !! It's been so much fun at the local markets following people around and chaseing the kids with..
I have also thought about small strobe lights attached to the tank and a small scale police lightbar that actually lights up with strobes on a tank with mp3 player ability Hmm another crazy idea here.. may post help for this !!
I have Boats, Cars , Monster trucks, no tank at the moment [&o] [&o] and a heli 4 channel fixed pitch..
in such a small town large scale vehicles are usually a crowd stopper even if they are henglong or nqd products talking about this I haven't been to the henglong website for awhile and can't find the link , anyone know if henglong make good quality rc cars as someone on ebay aust is claiming that the rc car is henglong ????
In some ways the tanks have an advantage over most other electric rc vehicles because mainly of the long run time of about 1 hour , yes 1 hour as this was what I got out of my panther and only 10 - 20 minutes out of anything else [&o] [&o]
keep up the good work and ideas

RE: HL Panzer III Afrika Corps
It's strange they didn't add the Panzer III to their website yet.
Anyway, I ordered one too, from a (for me) local shop. Hope to get it next week.
Btw, I'm new here, so hi everyone. Just got my Tokyo Marui Tiger I, and it is awesome, think I might collect rc-tanks as a second hobby from now on.

is the paint good enough to leave alone with some touch ups?

Got me by 1. Still gotta get the Sturmtiger, a T34 or 2 and the upcoming King Tiger. The little PZIIIs are cool though, wouldn't mind getting another but then reality sets in, what the heck am I going to do with them all? If I quit spending money on these things then I could save up for an Armortek Tiger! But I couldn't just have one 1/6 scale tank now could I? Need a bigger house with a couple acres, then I'll get the Armortek! Well it's not the house that NEEDS to be bigger, that's how I gotta sell it to the missus so I can build a hobby shop/workshop out back!

RE: HL Panzer III Afrika Corps
That looks great-
It looks like HL have already tried to give it a bit of a "used" look.
You've got to hand it to them, they seem to know what their customers want.
