All Tanker - What-Where-How long?

To all tankers.....
Simple poll to find who is out there.....
1) What do you drive? (Heng Long and/or Tamiya - typ of tank optional)
2) Where do you tend to drive? (backyard, park, battlefield....)
3) How long have you been driving them?
4) Do you normally battle with other tanks (IR or Airsoft)
To start:
1) Tamiya - Sherman, Tiger, and Pershing (considering HL or Bandai-really want a Panzer IV, but a III might do)
2) Battlefield, Park (occasionally)
3) 4 1/2 years
4) Yes (IR only)
Thanks,
Kevin O

How do those rubber/plastic tracks hold up on the 21st Century tanks? We have someone running the Sdfk German 1/2 track. The stretching treads are the one thing that constantly gives him problems.

1. HL Pershing, but also have a simple 1/16 Abrams residing in the loft, a Kyosho Pocket Armor Abrams for in the house and an 80's Radio Shack Leopard 1 for the occasional trip down memory lane!!
2. Garden, and on my mates farm mostly.
3. Mainly since Christmas just gone as that is when I got my Pershing. Making up for lost tim now that I have a decent tank!
4. No other tanks to battle with so use airsoft to shoot up any number of inanimate objects! Quite fancy trying a bit of target practice with my old plastic soldiers!

Simple poll to find who is out there.....
1) What do you drive? (Heng Long and/or Tamiya - typ of tank optional) Heng Long- Tiger, Pershing, PZ 3 on order, WSN- 2 T-34's One currently waiting on conversion to SU 100, 21 century - Static Sherman, RC PZ 4 waiting for conversion to Stug and new electronics.
2) Where do you tend to drive? (backyard, park, battlefield....) Back yard, but there is an RC park in town that will be seeing these tanks to generate interest amoung all the car guys, once the snow melts.
3) How long have you been driving them? Since November 2006
4) Do you normally battle with other tanks (IR or Airsoft) Not all winter. Have a couple of others interested who have perchased Heng Longs this winter, hope to start club. Have installed My own IR system in 3 of them. EI Mod electronics in the Tiger

1) HL Tiger, HL Panzer III (in bits all over my lounge floor at the moment!), Hobby Engine M1 Abrams
2) Tiger and PzIII in the house, for me they are more models that can move rather than RC vehicles I've done some modelling on. I may have a drive of them outside in the summer when the ground's dry. The M1 has had all it's main electrics moved to the turret and half a tube of bathroom sealant squirted in it's lower hull. I'll be trying it out in some water/mud this coming Good Friday on the church picnic
3) Since the week before Christmas 2006
4) Battle doesn't interest me much

OK, "educated posterior" I gave you 25 one arm pushups with hand claps....now sick call time.
I'm a newbee......just started with this RC stuff a short time ago and learning a lot thru these webs..
Will be running around my museum and visiting Danbury Museum end if this month.
No experience with RC combat.....no $ to invest in the big bucks stuff but will eventually get pulled into it.
I'm more interested in historic accuracy and realistic look.
I am planning to lay out an outdoor combat field by our museum, but his is going to take time. In the meantime, I will be visiting and taking lots of photos and asking for advice on certain aspects of the layout.

Front yard, local rc park, for the future SCAT battles.

4) Do you normally battle with other tanks (IR or Airsoft)
Battle is a new area for me. I plan to attend SCAT battles in the future/when the KT is done. Otherwise its just been running around.
