HL will be producing a new tank. Upholding their strong tradition of modeling German tanks they have chosen the A7V which is, the only German tank thay have not done. Citing the sales of their other 15 German tanks as the reason. Company spokesman Hong Chen was quoted as saying, "A Sherman, what is that, you are so funny, besides we wanted to model a tank that does not smoke much, this would be a perfect match for our new Platinum Series (c) smoke generator with an expanded lifetime of over 3 hours."

Due to the shape and size of this vehicle shipping from Mato Industries (the worlds only model tank supplier since the ratification of the Geneva Accord of 2009) may be tripled but delivery times could be shaved to two months since their recent aquisition of Canada Post and the Canadian Rail Industry.

...and because our customers keep asking for lasers we've installed 4 airsoft guns in this latest release. Almost forgot, the exhaust exits into the interior coating everything inside with a fine layer of soot and grime, just like the real tank!

It will be powered by a fuel that only mato sells in small 2 oz bottles that will run the tank for 3 minutes. It can be started with a pull starter that exits out the top and has a handle shaped like a little German. The box reads: "Pull the German and see him rumble down the road !"

now watch it zip along at 50 mph and pivot. When are they going to wake up to what is really wanted? Maybe because it's just a box, it'll be easier to mold.

with that ugly thing Hong Chen will eat his own words making cracks at the sherman...HL will lose a lot of sales on this tank I don't think most anyone here would have picked this as a tank for HL to produce![&o]

Wow...I was actually a little hyped up when I read the post. But the moment I scrolled down 2 notches...nvm. Why is it so damn ugly?! I mean...I know the hobby isn't about the bling blings on the tanks. But still, that thing...is so ******* ugly! I can mold that thing myself with my bare toes while studying for the SAT. Seriously, HL is taking the very very wrong path. They were on the right track giving tamiya competition and all, but now...I don't know where they're heading. Definitely not anywhere light would ever shine.

The more I look at it, the more I appreciate it. But it's going to take a hell of alotta appreciation for me to even like this thing. I'm judging that based on the pictures, not the actual products. I have no doubt it will be a fine product, and may please my taste. But the pictures don't quite do it justice.
