Default HL PZR III airsoft upgrade possible?

Hi guy's i always upgrade the airsoft guns in all my HL tanks with a stock marui 1/24 gun.... But on the new PZR III is it possible the outter gun barrel is solid not like the other HL tanks where the airsoft guns barrel slides up in the main gun barrel??

IS this true??

If so how can one do a upgrade if you must keep the HL barrel??

Any help or photos of the barrel and gun unit would be great

There is no outter barrel, what you see is the aluminum barrel.

Yea so you must use the stock barrel....so what could you do to make it shoot harder?...I never got one of these HL guns with the rubber O ring to shoot good and stay consitant and not change ....do you CA glue the o ring in place on the barrel?

I have problems will all my HL guns. My 2 Tigers stopped shooting after I installed the gun entensions, my Pz III after I modified the gun by filing it down to slip the short 75 howitzer over it, the Super Pershing after I added another tube length to the original and my Pershing just stopped. My M-41 needs Viagra, so I have pretty much given up on shooting BBs.

The only modification I made to my HL gun was installing a spacer in the traveling plunger that compresses the spring about 10 cm. This gun now shoots better then the Vs gun in my Tiger.

a 1;1 scale tank I can handle, as no modification is needed ouside of filling out o work order and telling Bn Maint to fix it. 76, 90 or 105mm ammo didn't have the same hang up problems that the HL guns have provided, although unpacking, loading and tossing out expended brass is a bit more work. From what I recall, all of my guns came issued in the correct length.....although there were times I wished I could have reached out farther to "touch someone".

Don't know about tank guns, but was on a gun crew in the navy aboard ship.( actually several ).We had 3 inch 50's fixed ammo surface or air ---Don't know about tanks but when those babys went off the barrel recoiled back and the hot shells man caught the hot brass and threw it out of the gun tubb.Noisy buggers,we all stuffed cotton in our ears for gunnery practice.Kind of sucked the air away for an instant when they went off.

Hi don't really car about getting gobs of power from it... I just was wondering how to fix it so it shoots nicely and stays that way.... I found that that rubber ring always gets buggered up some time or another and your gun wont shoot anymore correctly.... I am going to have to open her up today maybe i wil try to CA glue the darn thing in place.

well i tried and glue the rubber ring to the barrel... Bad luck a no go only shot like 10 FT so i decided to install a totaly new ring from a extra gun and wammo it shoots 100% better now.... I am thinking i probably could CA glue this one in place and that the other one was bad...but i am leaving it alone if it acts up again and starts shooting crappy i will try the CA glue again.

One good thing out of this is i installed a orange LED for the machien gun when it fires

Bill you have to lengthen the inner barrel when you extend the outter. First, there's little or no resistance to hold the inner barrel in place and second when the bb reaches the end of the inner barrel it then bounces around the outter barrel and might make it out after expending most of its energy.

An airsoft barrel has a smaller internal diameter, and a similar external diameter as the stock guns Shenloco. This thicker wall gives plenty of material for the rubber bushing to hold against and keep from falling out.

For the last couple of guns built I used black CA (the kind that can repair bicycle tires) to glue the barrel to the breech. It holds the barrel tight against the rubber bushing inside the breech, no losses after 100+ rounds.

James I know why the HL guns always break from the rubber ring being blown out and jamming with a BB it's a stupid desighn you realise that the rubber ring thing you know the thin side with the hole in it that faces towards the gun unit and the flat side faces the barrel...
Well let me try and explain...

First it's a no good desighn because the bb gets loaded and gas to get pushed through and into the rubber ring....next is why it jams and breaks all the time...

the nipple that pulls back to load a bb gets smashed up against the rubber ring then it shoots off the air gets pushed through it...well from it getting smushed up in the chamber by the nipple all the time the rubber gets deformed and that is why the bbs get loaded into it and instead of getting pushed inside the rubber ring..when it gets memory from sitting there with the nipple pressed against it for so long the BB then gets pushed faward to enter the ring but it jams in the chamber because the ring was not shaped the original way then you shoot and the bb and rubber ring gets jammed inside the barrel...
I looked down my PZR III's barrel with a small flash light and i can see the rubber ring down in the barrel it is smashed all out of round and deformed crooked from the pressure of the air chambers nipple resting up against it...so my guess is i bet after a wile this will not shoot good even though it shot perfect when i first put it in.

The VS seal is much better it's a wide open rubber seal that is shaped so the air chambers nipple shape gets pushed right up against a bevaled shaped seal this is why the VS marui guns are always reliable....the hen long unit is made wrong it actually smashes up against a thing rubber tube and it deforms a little and the bb catches ity as it's loaded and jams and walla your gun is messed up..... why they did not make the front of the rubber seal where the nipple enters to load the bb into iy have a beveled edge to mate with the round contore of the air chambers nipple is beyond me it would stop all HL gun problems for sure!

I have used a slice of rubber tubing to replace the factory seal.
