what do these bearing improve?
less drag on the road wheels = longer running time, also the should be pre greased so you don't have to grease them, every tamiya car I have ever owned I always replaced the bushes with ball races for the same reason also ball races don't over heat as much as bushes do also bushes wear a lot faster than ball races and if they get red hot they will melt the plastic and screw up the transmission and wheel alignment in the vehicle.

local bearing supplier wanted £33 and a 2 week wait to get them from birmingham ***[][][][]

good price, I thought I bad got a good deal but obviously not, I will have to go to Stella next time I get another Tamiya tank.

yes Matt, there will be a next time, it will either be a Pershing or a Sherman, because I have 3 axis tanks and 1 allied one ( 2 Tiger 1's, 1 Jagdpanther and 1 Pershing M26.)
