RE: Coming soon - Jagdpanther from Henglong
That's not an early Sherman Chuck, it's an M4A1(76)W from the pic, look at the hatches and turret shape. Is this what we've been waiting for? [:-]

UPDATE - all tanks that RC Command brings in will have metal gearboxes and upgraded battery (2000mah nimh). Yes, even the ones already on the way for the initial orders.
Thanks,
Bill

No, the initial shipment will not have metal gearboxes installed. We have not made the decision as to whether or not the larger order in the future will come stock with the metal gearboxes.

Will this initial loads have the metal gearbox?

Okay, finally the Jagdpanthers are ready to ship. As was done with the Stug III when they were initially released, air freight shipments will be available until they're included on a regular ocean freight container shipment. The cost of the tanks via our air freight shipment will be $150 plus $15 shipping to US, $30 to Canada and $50 to Europe. All other locations will need to inquire. Both airsoft and IR versions are available as well as in either gray or camo color. Initial air freight shipments should be here in no more than 7-10 days.
For those of you that have expressed interest by asking to be added to our waiting list, I will respond to each of you via PM or email. If you asked to be on the list and I haven't gotten to you within 24 hours of this post, I must first apologize for overlooking you and will respectfully ask you to drop us another email or PM. We will also try to make them available in our sites shopping cart within 24 hours as well.
Regards,
Bill

Nah, the 1/30 had a 75mm and round turret, that pic shows a T23 turret! [:-]

I agree with swathdiver. Also, note the tracks of the 1/30 HL sherman is different from the one in the 'teaser', which has the accurate tracks. I believe it is a new sherman, though not sure of the scale.

Its probably just 1/35 static model put up to get you boys excited. []
Until someone shows up with substantiated evidence that one is under development, a HL or Matoro 1/16 Sherman is still vaporware.

I believe this threads title is "Jagdpanther from Heng Long"... Not quite sure what does their KT price have to do with this?

He's had them up for over a week now.
One went for £147 (if I remember correctly) or there's the "Buy It Now" one for £120. I think he's putting two up at a time one auction, one Buy It Now.

RE: Coming soon - Jagdpanther from Henglong
Hi
I got one of these from Forgebear last week and am very impressed with it - and his service. I looked at MAto and other sites but with the state the UK £ is in at present it did not work out at all I am afraid. I know if I waited I may get it cheaper but it was the one I have been waiting for for ages and could not justify the cost of a Tam one - especially when I have a TAM DMD and MF unit out of an old worn out Tiger that my friend took off me to build a static one. The old Tiger was just getting too old and would have cost a bit to fix up to run again but was fine for modelling work.
cheers

Hi
To be honest I could not do pictures any better than the ones on the auction site advertising the one I bought but if there are some specific shots you want let me know and I will try to get them - but beware my camera skills are nothing near as good as my modelling skills.
cheers

RE: Coming soon - Jagdpanther from Henglong
The thing is pretty well detailed with the only major things needing worked on being the spare tracks on the hangers at the back on either side. I intend to replace these with scratch built ones and some spare track links from when I get the metal tracks on it. Also a set of rear deck engine grills. My other plans are some schutzen for the sides, removal of the tool racks on the hull side, moving the gun cleaning rods tube to the rear and a repaint in late war scheme. Not a lot
