Default A 1/16 Abrams M1A1 and/or M1A2????

The only 1/16 models of post 1950'stanks I have, are the Tamiya Leopard 1A4 and Leopard 2A6.
I have been looking for an Abrams M1A1 and/or M1A2 of the same quality for some time now, but without success.
Are there any out there??

Hobby engine have released a 1/16th Abrams and a Leo 2A5 (or 6?)

Not sure if they are available out your way (they aren't common here in the US) but they are available in the UK.

The Hobby Engine tanks are available in the US, just not many dealers. Try Hobbytron but make sure they send you what you ordered. I ordered an abrams M1A1 but they sent me the LEO.

Hey Greg,
Did they send you the later Model with the spring suspension or the old version with the fixed road wheels? I keep looking at these but I'm always afraid of getting the old version...

They are RTR's. The Leopard 2-A5 is much better detail wise than the Abrams. In both cases the electronics and running gear need replacing to get a decent rc tank.

Cheers
John

Mine actually came with working suspention EPT. I would not have gone through all the trouble to convert too the Tamiya tracks if it had not. I'm still planning on an El-mod system for it. The suspention is ok though not great but not too bad.

None available unless you get into the custom 1/6 or 1/8 scale.... the good ones of those cost like 6400. I had some quoted years ago, i think made in the czech rep or about there. I did not save the link but i am sure somebody might refresh my memory.

Has anyone ever ordered those 1/16 metal ones from china? I remember reading old threads on here about people offering them and so forth, but so far **0** state side reviews of customers actually having any......
