I will likely extend my Heng Long Tiger 1's barrel, as now that I have the tank working (thanks everyone who contributed!), I am in the process of painting and upgrading its appearance.
Does the extension mess up the airsoft gun? I may use a piece of brass tubing.

That's all i did, used a piece of 6mm id aluminium tube and drilled the hole the same distance from the end as the stock barrel, the outside diameter of the tube was smaller than the stock barrel so i gave it a wrap with plumbers ptfe tape just enough to make it a good fit in the bb gun, i did have to shave a bit off the muzle brake, the tube being smaller in od was'nt ligned up in the barrel, probably thinking about it now a few wraps of the tape on the other end of the barrel might have worked, but yeah it shoots ok.
