Default just got a great deal off Evilbay

I just bought off eBay a couple of (one for me, one for my Dad) HL Bulldogs. They are both brand new in box, but only the basic tanks. As I'm tired of messing with smoke that does not work for more than 5 minutes before you have to replace, and since I have too many transmitters already, I'm just going to toss an Rx14 board I have kicking around in and a speaker and have fun with it instead of a full refit (for now) - plastic tracks and gear and all. Oh, and I can't complain on the price - $43 each including free shipping in the US.

I always wanted a Bulldog.

I just picked up a smoke and sound Bulldog off ebay for $30 (shipping included) It was said that it didn't start so I'm hoping its just the crystal. I had one before and yes I agree, they are a great tank and the gun is good for modifying.

That's an amazing deal. Hope it's something minor for you, but at that no matter what it is it will be worth it!

Even if they don't work it's great just for the parts.
How much would you pay for an smoke unit or gun elevation unit.

They are on their way, and yes, I got them from eBay. The seller has a bunch of other tanks, but the Bulldog was the real deal.

Yep, he seems to have decent prices. I saw him at about 2 int the afternoon wit h7 Bulldogs for $43, by the time I decided to buy two at about 6pm, he had three. And an hour later, that one was gone. I think he has more listed now.

Well, just got my "great deal" from eBay....

plastic track, plastic gears.

And that's as "bad" as it got!

Despite being advertised as a basic non-S&S 2 speed tank, it came with a smoke liquid bottle......further investigation showed that it was indeed a S&S, and even has an RX18 board! It's not IR battle set up, but that's minor. And to top it off, it works perfectly right out of the box. The smoke even came pouring out! The smoker is a screw top, but not proportional. Plus the detail on the Bulldog is beautiful....I am SO impressed. If I had known it was this nice, I would have gotten one a long time ago.

I can not verify that all of this seller's Bulldogs are the same as mine, but I bought two and they are both like this. Pretty darn good deal for a new S&S Buldog in the box - $43 with the shipping in the US. Makes me wonder about his other tanks....

All in all, I rate this "great deal" as an "absolutely fantastic deal"!

After a week of no communication, I received a refund say they had a flood in their warehouse and to try again in a couple of weeks. So nothing yet, I've been waiting for Bill from RCC to get back with me also but that has been a couple of weeks, I hope everything is okay with him.

Wow, that sucks! No water damage on the box of my Bulldog, so I guess I got lucky. Actually, very lucky! Everything works....that's better than any other HL tank I've purchased!

This vendor on eBay has bargain tanks listed again. Camo Tigers for $60.00 and Pershing for $50.00 and free shipping. They are listed as basic non S&S versions, but at those prices; would make a nice project for the winter ahead.

Yep, I tried again for the Pershing. I'll have spare parts left over from my Tiger referb and getting a new receiver should be easy enough.

Hey Chris,

I might pick up a Pershing too, but didn't see it listed in his store. Did you get the last one? So do these have S&S but plastic gears and tracks? If so, that seems like an offbeat combination, don't think I've seen them equipped like that previously. Thanks!

Cheers, Bob

Hey Bob, you got to search under Snow Leopard, I don't know where that nickname came from.

I remember sombody said the Pershing name was copyrighted by Tamiya or something like that so HL called it a Snow Leapord/Pershing.

Good luck. As I had mentioned, I had gotten two Bulldogs that both work fine - even the smokers work! Needless to say, those half utilized Rx18 boards are goingto be refitted for IR battle capability right quick!
