Got my Panther G last Friday, tested it and clocked the suspension Saturday, painted it Sunday, and took these snaps today. Going to wait for 7 days before I weather it. Then some more nice photos.
What ya think?

Very nice Oz! She looks awesome!! Great camera work - everything looks very natural and to scale.
Anyone know why there was an early release on International orders? Bummed because I wanted airsoft in gray, and neither Bill or Phil had them so I ordered from Mato [sorry guys] A MONTH AGO because I saw them on another forum and thought Mato was sending them out early and I just had to have one! Not a gripe against Mato because it clearly states that this Tuesday is the release date, but I'm curious why the release date wasn't for everyone.

Looks very nice. Are those stock plastic tracks, or did you go metal?
I have preordered mine, and am looking forward to getting it. I have the 3:1 gearbox just waiting.

Oz,
Is that the IR version and if so does it have the recoil? I read that these come with the recoil, just wondering. Let us know how this beast performs please.
Cheers,
Wade

Thanks Guys for the nice comments, to answer your questions
:YHR: they are the stock plastic tracks
arksheer: I am not 1005 sure but i would think they are the short ones
:HG1980: Thanks for the compliment but it is only the Heng Long one
:Panther F: The best way to learn is to ask questions, if we all knew everything there would be no need for this forum. I would never have a shot at someone that wants to learn more
:caribmar: Much MUCH better than there last one, I got mine from Mato
:thebronze: they drive like any of the newer HL's and has the new sounds that started with there KV1 More like a diesel than a petrol motor
:rebellion13: Yes it is the IR version and it comes with main gun recoil and mine came with a IR receiver battle unit
:YHR: they are the stock plastic tracks

Well I got the Panther painted and weathered, finished it last night and took some happy snaps today instead of having lunch. The things I give up for RC tanks LOL.
Hope you like it, comments welcome.

Very Nice. I love the yard work you have done. Very impressive looking tank. Have you dropped in 3:1 gears yet?
How big of an area did you map out for that battle field? I have to convince my wife we need and area like that in the back yard.

Man, that is impressive! My wife ordered one of these (or a Sherman) for Christmas, arrived from Mato yesterday. I guess I'll have to hope it's teh Panther....it just is more impressive than the Mato Sherman is (but I want BOTH!)

Now that is a nice tank HL did a pretty darn good job on this Panther. Just think of how many they would have sold if they made their first atempt an actual D or A model.
