If you folks aren't already doing so, you should be post your questions / complaints on RCTANKHQ forum since they tend to be a huge supporter of their sponsors. That might even get Feng's attention.

Ta-Da. Mine showed up today. It will take a bit of time to focus on it but it is here and that is a major milestone. A few minor detail parts broke off in shipping but i think i have it all. now i just need to learn to read Chinese so i can get it running.

I decided to finish my Hooben T55 so called "kit" without missing parts. I don't want to wait next 2-3 years.
Reply from Hooben was typical : next week , next month , very soon etc....
In my T55 I used
- Elmod electronics TLS + Booster (older Elmod version)
- Benedini sound module
- Tamiya recoil unit
- turret rotation , turret ring and gun elevation unit from my second destroyed WSN T34
- T81 Pershing metal tracks and sprockets
- some mising details madefrom resin or plastic

Pictures below

Guys... a small voice (ok, post) poll:

Of those of you that have ordered a kit (aka, put $ down)

Which 'package' did you get, who did you buy from, and how much (before shipping if possible)
Was it missing any parts, and if so, were they supplied in a reasonable time (if at all) If not, were they replacable?

Overall, in your opinion, is this kit worth the build-up its gotten?

WhiteWolf, interested in making a 'Beast' replica.

I simply connect directly two wires from Tamiya recoli unit : white and green /the blue is from the switch/ to the Elmod TLS
It is not the best idea but I use Elmod in 6 channel mode and the 5 channel is dedicated for gun and MG shot . In my transmitter this channel is controled by separate switch so it is very easy to controlthe whole recoil action.
However Elmod suggested another solution - see picture below , but I didnt test it in practice.

Please please get your act together Hobben. I need this tank. Not want this tank , NEED it. I have an HE Abrams and an HE LEO that need something to rape on the battle field. No offense to our Russian tanker friends but lets be realistic. LOL It could even be a Chinese T-67 I believe, correct? i'm sure with some mods there are a few variants that this would be a good base model for. I'll have too check my reference material.
