Simple Question....
I am looking to get the size ranges the tracks come in for these tanks. I know they vary in design and scale, but if some of you could post the width and length of various tracks played out flat that would be a huge help to me. Thanks guys!

Seems to me you could buy a set of each and decide for your self. Stock plastic tracks are not that expensive and an actual track in front of you will give you a much better idea of what you are looking for. The width is easy, but every one of these models have different lengths, and the only true way to measure them is to take them off the tank to do it. And some tanks need more links than others even being the same model tank. One will run with X number of links on one side of the tank and need one more or one less on the other. QC plays a big part of the fit of the tracks. This is not meant to be some type of smart ***** answer but it will be the most helpful way to do it.

Panther G has a very good point. With so many tanks in both Tamiya and Hen Long, and some having as many as three or more track types, in stock plastic or aftermarket metal, the PDF-chart for such a comparison would be a serious undertaking. Perhaps if you told us why you wanted this data we might be able to give you a bit of assistance... |

Sorry, should have been a bit more descriptive. This is NOT for a tank. I am designing tracks for another use, and I am researching available materials for the product. I am sure that the tracks for most of these tanks is too thin, so it's purely a general numbers issue, meaning, are they generally 1" wide, 2" wide, 10" long, 20" long......custom scratch built design using available items.

Ok, think I am in the right direction here, one last thing.....can these stock style tracks be adjusted? Meaning, can I make them longer or shorter or are they made as one continuous belt?

The ones we use are made up of individual links. Even then we usually have too add adjustable track tensioners too our tanks as the fit is not always acceptable for the model they are used on. Improper tension can cause tracks coming off or worse breakage of the track links or suspension parts them selves. You should always design in a way to adjust the tension of tracks.
