Yes it looks that way only because most of the pics i can find are but i dont usualy try to build a particular tank just something that looks about rite. Here is the finle drive bearings the are epoxied in the housing and screwd to the hull. It looks pretty cheesy but it is the forth one i have done like that and it seems to hold up fine. After all the bearings came from old roller blades in the trash.

Lotsa work to make it look right., Is this going to be one of the first 500, or one of the Zebra Mission Pershings? If not, get rid of the two auxilliary periscopes for driver & BOG. After 1945, add fender braces. You're missing a spare track block..is this intentional?
With that much detailing, it's gotta look great once it's finished..

This is my 2nd pershing but i still have not done as mutch reserch as the german armor there doesent seem to be as mutch on the net. Maby it will be one of the first 500 just so i dont have to get rid of the periscopes building the guards is to mutch of a pain to throw away. The track blocks are all that came with it as extras and using the spare tracks that come on the turet just doesent match up with the rest of them.

Keep at it then. You can view my build page for the details that were put into mine. It's undergoing an overhaul as we speak and turns 5 years old this Christmas!

Another afternoon of working and i got the tool box handles and tie downs done. They are not exactly scale but still alot better than the lumps that came on it. I cant load pics the forum is acting screwy again i will try again later.

Well a couple more days off and its almost done. I got a coat of primer on it a better speaker i will build a box after i run it some to make shure i have enough lead in the front. This one got home made 3/1s that are a little differant than my others it was the only gears a had in the parts pile. I bought upgrade springs before i got it because from what i have red the springs are to soft but they must have fixed that if any thing they are to stiff maby they will soften up some with use. The only problem real i had with this one wis the return rollers are so glued up that they wont roll thye must of hired the glue monkey back for the holiday rush.
